Simultaneous Interpretation Equipment

Eurosis Simultaneous Interpretation Equipment

We have chosen not to restrict ourselves by being a member of any one single manufacturers’ rental network, which leaves us free to choose the most suitable type of equipment for your requirements. The table layout of the meeting determines which type of equipment is most appropriate for your meeting.

U-Shape, Hollow Square or Boardroom table layout

Meetings that take the form of discussions around a table would usually have a digital microphone system.

  • The system is the latest digital technology for high quality sound distribution
  • Each delegate unit has a microphone, volume control, internal loudspeaker and a switch to select the required language channel. To hear the interpretation, the participants merely plug their headset into their microphone unit
  • Delegates are able to hear simultaneous interpretation on up to 15 language channels, with the flexibility to talk and participate in the meeting at the push of a button.
  • The system is able to be controlled via a PC or laptop using specially designed software

Theatre style layout

When presenting to an audience, we would suggest our Infrared system.

  • The system ensures that high-quality sound in all languages reaches all parts of the conference room
  • Delegates are supplied with a lightweight, cordless receiver and headset, which allows them to listen to interpretation in up to 12 languages, by selecting the appropriate channel on the receiver
  • The cordless units give delegates the freedom to move around the conference room, allowing for flexibility in seating plans.

Booths

  • The majority of multi-lingual conferences require sound-proofed booths. Our portable, flat pack booths conform to the ISO 4043 standard and the requirements for EU interpreters
  • Doors can be placed either at the back of the booth or at the side of the booth allowing for best use of the space inside the meeting room
  • The size of the booths can vary according to the number of interpreters required per language, however the ISO 4043 standard is 1.67m x 1.67m x 2.10m which allows for 2 interpreters to be seated inside. On request we can configure the booths to accommodate 3 or even 4 interpreters per booth.
