Simultaneous interpretation is the complex and highly skilled task of rendering one spoken language into another. Interpreters, working in teams of two per language, listen to the speaker and at the same time provide an interpretation of what has just been said. A simultaneous interpretation service enables all delegates to hear the speech or presentation at the same time in their native tongue and allows discussions and presentations to proceed at the same pace as a single language conference.

Planning your interpretation requirements

When booking Simultaneous Interpretation facilities from Eurosis you will receive a comprehensive service. Your dedicated interpreter co-ordinator will:

• Arrange travel and accommodation requirements if required

To help in preparing your quotation, we would appreciate the following:

• Venue location
• Event Dates
• Language combinations required
• Number of delegates

On the day

• A technician is in attendance to manage equipment
• Where required an interpretation team-leader may be appointed to act as your single point of contact
• For large or complex requirements we will supply an on-site co-ordinator

Equipment

We supply interpreter booths, infrared receivers/headsets and delegate microphones, unless you have suitable equipment already in place. We also provide pre-event advice and support to ensure your venue can accommodate the required equipment. Click here for more information
